Terms of Service

By creating an account on poddubstudio (the "Service") or uploading content, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a binding contract between you and the poddubstudio team, operating from India.

If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You can close your account at any time from the Dashboard.

• Pricing per content type is shown on the /pricing page and is final at the time you accept the dub job.
• All payments are in Indian Rupees (₹) and processed via Razorpay. We do not store any payment instrument details.
• A 30-second free trial is included once per phone number — no card required.
• GST is included in displayed prices for Indian customers as applicable.

• Every paid dub is auto-scored by our AI Quality Auditor against a per-content-type quality bar (85-95%, depending on category).
• If the score is at or above the bar → the dub is delivered to you marked "PASS".
• If the score is below the bar → we automatically refund 100% of the amount to your original payment method. Razorpay typically credits within 5-7 business days (instant via UPI). No claim needed.
• Quality bar applies only to issues caused by our pipeline (translation, lip-sync, voice cloning). Upload-side issues (bad audio, broken codec, copyrighted music we can't separate) are flagged separately as "your content needs fixing" and you keep the credit.

• You retain full ownership of the videos you upload and the dubs we produce.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for the sole purpose of fulfilling your dubbing request. This license terminates the moment your content is hard-deleted from our storage (18 hours after delivery by default).
• You confirm that you own (or have licensed) the rights to the original video AND any music in it. poddubstudio is not liable for IP claims against your source material.
• We never train AI models on your content. Period.

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, hate-driven, or violates someone's privacy.
• Use the Service to dub content depicting a real person without their consent (deep-fake risk).
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent our rate limits or pricing.
• Resell our output as a service (you can use the dubs in your own creator/business work freely).
• Use bots or scripts to abuse the free trial.

• We aim for 99% uptime but make no guarantee. Scheduled maintenance is announced 24+ hours in advance via email.
• The Service is provided "as is". Beyond the quality-bar auto-refund described above, we offer no other warranties — express or implied — including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the city where our registered office is located, as stated on the Contact page.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are emailed to all registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. This version: Feb 2026.
